The Kuala Lumpur Engineering Science Fair 2014 is the first of a series of annual programmes aimed to promote interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) among primary and secondary school students. It is jointly organised by the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET), Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and the National Science Centre.
This event also supports the "Science to Action (S2A)" initiative launched by Prime Minister on the 1st November 2013.
